If a KOM or QOM isn’t in your future, but you want to keep the competition going, Local Legends is the way to go. You’ll still have the challenge of repeating a segment as fast as you can, but without the pressure of competing with the world’s top riders.
Myths and legends abound in the places we visit, and they offer insights into local culture and history. Some are more well-known than others, but all of them give us a chance to see the world through the eyes of the people who live there.
In this edition of the Local Legend, we’re exploring the myths and legends of five destinations from around the globe.
From the infamous Bell Witch to Black Aggie, the stories and folklore surrounding these landmarks are sure to have you running for cover.
Defeating Local Legends the first time guarantees you a Hidden Achievement and a Chest. Each Legend also has a unique set of mechanics and weaknesses that can be exploited to make them more difficult.
There are 22 Local Legends available to fight in Natlan as of Version 5.8. Six of them can be found on the surface, while the rest are underwater.
You can find the list of available Local Legends by clicking on the “Local Legends” tab at the top of the screen in any eligible segment. You can opt out of Local Legends competition by selecting the ellipsis or “i” icon in the upper right corner of any eligible segment or in your privacy settings.
